I recently completed the 7 day body detox/weight loss program at Aria. I waited a while after leaving the spa to write this review to see if the 8 pounds I had lost while there would stay off…THEY DID, AND I’M ECSTATIC!!! I even lost additional weight after I left the spa. The weight I had lost were pounds I had struggled to lose for several years. I can now wear clothes that hung in my closet during my “overweight period” unused or in which I looked like a stuffed sausage. Needless to say, I am quite pleased with the dramatic results. Thank you Aria!!!

It all started with a Groupon, and now I can’t stop going! I originally bought the Groupon Detox Day Spa package, which led me to their website. Although I bought my Groupon first, I used it last. Let me explain: When I went on the website to find out there hours, I saw they had some specials going on. One in particular stood out to me, weight loss program, so I bought it, booked an appointment for that week. I was skeptical with my entire attempt to lose weight and now I am so relaxed and so happy!! Lost 12 pounds…So I went back touch up detox 3h deal and, the experience was amazing! The provider at spa so kind, informative, and always making sure you are comfortable and relax! As for the spa itself: Everything is so clean, they keep you on schedule but never rush you or take time away from your appointments, the staff is so friendly and accommodating, and my over all experience was fantastic!!! This is my advice: If you want lose weight call ARIA.

Starting off by saying my favorite day and wellness spa is in Germany and since I don’t have time or funds to go back and forth on a monthly basis I’ve been looking for the next best here in the US…with Aria MedSpa I hit the jackpot, as it is a hidden gem! Enjoyed laser hair removal sessions last year but went back for day spa services yesterday for the full expirence. Spent 3 hours and enjoyed every minute, even the 2 minutes of the negative 175 degree cryotherapy! Amazing attention to detail, and personal care from both Sergei and Shella, with education and daily routine tips during services. Would highly recommend this day spa over any other in the MD/VA/DC region! Don’t waste your money or time anywhere else. Heading back next week!

I had a spa day with the ladies and it was the best. My friend booked us for a package deal. It was my first time getting a body scrub and body wrap. My skin felt so amazing afterwards. I fell asleep during the body wrap. It was so relaxing. I love the little snacks and drinks they have set up.
When you first walk in, you can tell it’s well kept. The lobby is clean. When they take you back to the lounge area, it’s as though you’ve walked into another world. The place is beautifully decorated and the ambience is great. I plan on going back again.

Oh crap! I forgot my engagement ring, wedding ring, and earrings in the pocket of my robe! [Panic, panic, panic] Yesterday, when I changed for my massage, I forgot to remove my jewelry and put it in the locker. Instead I put them in the pocket of my robe right before laying on the massage table. (Sheila gave me a wonderful deep pressure massage. It’s amazing how those itty bitty hands of hers can do such a powerful job.)
I went home feeling light and relaxed. Today I went about my day and it wasn’t until this afternoon (almost 24 hours later) that I realized I didn’t have my rings. Holy smokes! My rings! My husband is going to be livid! Will Aria have them? Will someone steal them? Are they honest?
I immediately drove over there and Christina immediately stopped what she was doing to assist me. She walked me to the laundry area and started digging through huge laundry baskets of used towels and robes. Paola, another employee, joined Christina to assist. They went through a few things then Paola remembered having folded some robes earlier that day. She walked out to another room and found my engagement ring!
OMG! What a relief. For me, my engagement ring is the most valuable since my husband worked a whole summer paving driveways so he could pay for my ring and propose. I was so happy.
They continued to look for my other jewelry but did not find it. I left my contact information fully trusting that they would continue the search and call me back when they find the rest of my items. I’m so grateful. I got a great massage. They gave me 5 star service. However, this review is to recognize the extra care and concern they showed me. They care about their customers and they’ll treat you like a precious diamond. Thank you Christina. Thank you Paola. Thank you so much.

I had the best day ever at ARIA MediSpa today! I booked two Premium Winter Escape Day packages for my daughter and I on 12/8. We loved all of the services which included the 60 minute Venik experience (you must try this!!), the mineralizing Moroccan 45 minute body scrub, 60 minute massage, the body mask wrap with scalp and foot massage and we enjoyed relaxing in the salt room for 30 minutes in which we received a reflexology foot massage and paraffin treatment. I highly recommend taking advantage of the day spa special! I’m asking Santa for another visit! The staff are phenomenal and very friendly.

I am quite shocked to see a few negative reviews on here. I have been to Aria Medispa many times these past few years from everything to a facial, massage, day-long couples massage, chemical peel- you name it. I have never had anything but a great experience- I have even bought two day spa gift certificates for friends. I just bought a package for laser hair removal and scheduled a consultation to talk about ultrashape. I will be sure to provide feedback as some customers have had very negative experiences here.

Love this place! Sheila is the best as was the guy who did my Ayurvedic (can’t remember his name, unfortunately). I did the 5-hour treatment. Drove from NE DC and didn’t really know what to expect but it was a pleasant unfolding. I left feeling renewed and was just thinking about when I’ll go back. It’s more than worth the drive which was close to an hour for me (just wish I had someone to drive me back!). The front desk left a bit to be desired and wish someone had given me my itinerary for the 5-hour time stretch but other than that, quality of services was great.

I would like to write a review about my last visit at Aria Medspa. It was great experience that I had with the staffs. I came in about 10 minutes before my appointment. When I walked in, the reception area is very nice and neat. The music and the decoration already made you feel calm and relaxing. The receptionists seemed very prepared for any clients who would walk in. They gave me a big friendly smile and offer me water. They would let me rest a little before they walked me around the spa and explained to me what they offered. Toya is very nice. She was my massage therapist from my last visit. I requested to meet her again. This time, we talked more and I really enjoyed her service. She cares about her client. She still remembered my massage reference from the last visit. So, she gave me extra massage on my shoulders and neck. Thank you for caring about the clients.

I enjoyed myself here for my birthday gift, it was my first time here and the design of this place is gorgeous. My only complaint is I wish I was throughly guided through my 3 hour spa experience. My first stop was the Bochka steam room and the guy(who was very nice) that was helping me his english was not good so he could barely communicate how the Bochka worked . He was offering other things for me but I could barely understand so I said no. Other than that my massage was awesome, my foot massage in the salt room was good too and I think I went to sleep snoring until a therapist came with her keys making noise looking for something I thought that was rude and she woke up me. But I hope to come back soon.
