How VISIA Works
Our skin care professionals use the computer-controlled multi-spectral facial imaging technology within VISIA to measure surface and subsurface skin conditions that are recorded with standard, cross-polarized and UV photography. The system scans for key information in eight areas that affect your skin’s health and appearance: skin pigmentation, pore size, porphyrins (evidence of bacteria), UV spots, photo damage (typically from sun damage), redness (inflammation), texture and wrinkles. The assessment compares your skin’s features to other individuals of the same sex, age and skin type, and provides you with your skin condition relative to your peer group.
Your VISIA treatment session only takes a few minutes and is a comfortable, non-invasive process at all times. Once complete, we review your results and create a personalized program that specifically targets and treats your problem areas. Our skin care professionals will recommend the best regimen and skin care products to address your specific concerns. The entire consultation can be done during your lunch hour!
