Today I had my last touch-up laser treatment in my “save my face” journey with Valeria at Aria Medispa. I was shown before and after pictures of my face….my jaw dropped! Simply AMAZING results!! I see myself every day and obviously didn’t notice the differences during my 6 month experience. Having never had a facial in my over 4 decades of life (…yes, that is over 40…) and having skin that leaves a mark for months after a scratch, blemish or boo-boo, I was incredibly nervous to start the recommended chemical peel and laser process last September. After seeing these results, and friends commenting on how great my skin looks, I am only regretting not having it done sooner in life. The pregnancy mask…. gone; the sun spots…gone…..; the wrinkles…..mostly gone. 🙂 I feel better and, humbly stated, I look better!! I was so sad when Valeria said she looked forward to seeing my in the Fall for any peels I was interested in. I will miss her until then, but will be back to Aria MediSpa beforehand because the Venik and massages are calling my name.As a side note, I looked through the reviews for Aria MediSpa this afternoon. Clients are coming from all over the NOVA area, DC and Maryland. This is a true testament to their service and services.

This spa is wonderful, I had a deep clean facial with Valeria, and she is amazing!!! She is very professional who really loves her job. I have the venik sauna treatment with Nathalia, it was a new experience for me, and it was a joy. I would definitely go back again… Great place to relax 🙂

Thoroughly loved my spa treatments, I FINALLY found my go to spot in the area. The massage therapist (I think her name was Natasha) was very professional and really made me relaxed during the massage, body scrub and body polish. I cant wait to go back. This place is amazing!!!!!

I recently received laser hair removal from Valeria. She made me feel incredibly comfortable, was very knowledgeable about the machinery, and provided fun conversation during the treatment so I barely felt a thing. After one treatment, I already see results!
Valeria is amazing, and I am beyond excited to have found her impressive. Extremely detail oriented and never in a rush, she knows how to take care of clients. Her work is flawless and natural. She has a way of making you feel so comfortable and stress free.
The very best past of Valeria’s practice is how she makes you feel as if you’re her only client – clearly, her business is booming and I’m lucky to nab an appointment with her, but when I’m in her Medi spa, it feels like I’m an A-lister. Their laser products are top of the line, painless and effective. Literally no pain at all and was such a quick experience… and their prices are reasonable – they have a great promotions going on…. Great quality and extremely affordable!

I went to this spa today and had an amazing experience!! I had the Venik sauna treatment, an hour massage, and a facial. It was a gift for me and I was very pleasantly surprised, the spa is very nice and clean and there is a relaxation room and a nice private shower area if you need one. I received the Venik sauna treatment with a delightful woman- it was my first time doing this so I had no idea what to expect except for a quick google search but it was a very relaxing and unique experience! The treatment involves a small private sauna, and I had a female for the treatment and there was a small towel that I used to cover my top half for privacy. I noticed that another reviewer had a male and perhaps nothing to cover herself (which I could see why that was uncomfortable), but it seems they addressed that so that says a lot to me about their customer service. I would definitely recommend for this to ask for a small towel if it makes you more comfortable, and I know may be TMI but they also have disposable undies in the changing area if you prefer to use them because it is HOT in there and you’ll be pretty sweaty from head to toe after an hour.The massage with Tasha was GREAT. She applied very strong pressure and was a joy, I would definitely go back to her!
As part of the gift, it originally came with a chemical peel but I was hesitant to try one. Without any problems, they offered to substitute it with a facial. It was very relaxing and she did a great job with head and should massage.
Overall 5 stars for this spa- they just opened and have some great deals. I would definitely recommend!!

I booked this spa via a Groupon special that was too good to refuse: a custom express facial, body scrub, and massage for two for $189- Especially since this spa was located within walking distance of my home.I called to book my appointment on a Thursday, looking for a Saturday appt and figuring the upcoming Saturday would be booked, offered 3 possible Saturdays in the future. At the time, the gentleman on the phone mentioned that they did have availability and I was excited to book for that weekend. I received a text message shortly after my phone call to confirm the appt. Unfortunately, what the gentleman was trying to tell me (there was a bit of an accent that made it slightly difficult to understand via phone) was that while there wasn’t availability on the first Saturday, there was for that Sunday. Which had I actually read the text confirmations, I would have seen. Can you tell where this is going?

Fast forward to that Saturday morning, freshly showered and excitedly entering the lovely spa with my girl friend to jump into our spa day. Said gentleman was besides himself for the misunderstanding- which was my fault for not reading the text confirmation fully. While we did have to slink back home that morning, he said that he would add a “surprise” to our package when we returned in 2 weeks time. After arriving, we were led into a changing room. The location is beautifully decorated, serene, and again, literally within walking distance of my home. I would have preferred a longer robe- theirs are half robes that come to the knee. As I am comfortable being fully unclothed during treatments, sitting around in a short robe did leave me feeling slightly exposed.
My first treatment was an express facial with Veera. She was elegant, professional, and very adept at her work- the treatment was so relaxing and thorough that I can’t wait to return and enjoy a full offering. She even noticed that I was breaking out on my chest and recommended that I spray my perfume in alternate places to see if this helped clear up the irritation.
Back in the relaxation room (which had plenty of blankets to cover my exposed legs that the robe did not) I enjoyed hot tea. They also offered a dry sauna to warm up in prior to and after treatments if desired. My next two treatments were administered by Aliana. The first was a body scrub. Now I have had scrubs in the past where you get buffed with a sugar lotion mixture, then washed and lubed up. This was entirely different. THEY MEAN BUSINESS. Using what felt like a pair of shower scrubby gloves, I was dry scrubbed..thoroughly. After, my skin was moistened and then re-scrubbed with the aforementioned exfoliating scrub. It is not for the faint of heart- It is cold. It is scrubbing you to within an inch of your nerves. It is going to set your teeth on edge..BUT.. I WALKED OUT OF THAT SPA HYDROPHOBIC. I was so baby’s butt smooth that water sprayed on my body would have beaded and run off. For HOURS after, I found myself rubbing my own legs, astonished at how silky my skin was. So- buyer beware if you are overly sensitive, but I know that I’ll be back for that again. I mean, it’s nowhere near as extreme as getting your hiney waxed.
After having the top layers of scratchy skin removed, Aliana provided a massage that was probably more spot on that many previous experiences. She specifically asked me where she should focus and what issues I was having. While slight in build, she knows how to use her hands, elbows, and leverage to make sure she gets into tight muscles so that you can TELL you’ve been masseused.

Once the official spa treatments were complete, I found out what my special extra was: a Siberian Bochka treatment! Conducted by Sasha in the sauna, this had to be one of the more unusual treatments I have ever received. After donning some very haute disposable undies, I laid in the sauna while Sasha stood between me and the heater. He had a huge bouquet of Oak leaves soaking in a bucket that he removed and set aside to slightly dry. After anointing various pressure points with honey (!?) he smacked me with the oak bouquet. Repeatedly. Really.

Noting that it’s good for the reduction of cellulite, this aromatic treatment is certainly something everyone should try once. And honestly, the wonderfully, Russian Sasha is a peach to have as a technician. After this last treatment I was presented with a tray of fruit, hot tea, and a glass of wine- but assured by Sasha that traditionally, “Good sauna end with vodka!” 10/10 Would visit again,

I did the day spa which included: body scrub, massage, facial, sauna, and herbal tea treatment, and it was one of the most relaxing days I’ve had. The staff was very friendly and I bought a couples massage for my parents also. I will definitely be coming here again when I’m in town. 🙂

This may be the BEST premier spa in Northern Virginia with a European flair. I did my research for spas throughout the DMV, looking for the best birthday gift for myself. After reading numerous reviews, and asking friends, I decided on Aria Medispa. From the moment I walked in, I knew I was in for an extra special treat! I received 5 treatments for the price of 1 which in itself was astonishing (check their Facebook page and Groupon/Living Social for specials). I was greeted by Valeria at the front desk and my French masseuse Val, they were extremely friendly and genuine. I filled out my paperwork and was whisked into Wonderland. Every detail is covered, the spa is beautiful and peacefully decorated; it’s warm and inviting. My treatments were all unique and different, leaving me wondering “what’s next?”. Being a medi-spa, they really focus on the healing and nurturing aspects of what each procedure entails, there is a purpose for everything they are doing. After my relaxing treatments, I was surprised with an elegant silver tray filled with goodies, a glass of red wine and a pot of tea. I was not rushed in any way, and felt right at home. The staff is extremely professional and was at ease during all of my treatments. I felt each and every person I encountered gave me their best and wanted to ensure that I left completely satisfied, and I did. I will continue to tell all of my friends and family about Aria Medispa. I will be back, as I have found my oasis.

I JUST HAD A DELIGHTFUL EXPERIENCE AT ARIA. THE MASSAGE AND SCRUB WITH TASHA WAS DIVINE, AND THE VENIK SAUNA WITH SASHA WAS VERY UNUSUAL BUT EXTREMELY REFRESHING. THE SPA IS AMAZINGLY CLEAN AND THE AMBIANCE IS ABOUT AS SERENE AS IT GETS. MY EXPERIENCE WAS TOPPED OFF WITH SOME LOVELY TEA AND FRUIT. BY THAT POINT I WAS ABOUT AS RELAXED AS I COULD GET! I FELT LIKE A QUEEN. THE STAFF WAS ALSO EXTREMELY PROFESSIONAL, AND THE PRICES WERE REASONABLE. I LOOK FORWARD TO GOING BACK SOON!
